Hi, I’m Alyssa

  • I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in San Diego. I've always been drawn to people, their stories, and the relationships that shape their lives. That passion ultimately led me to this work and continues to be one of the things I love most about my job. I believe our experiences, relationships, and the stories we tell about our lives have a profound impact on how we move through the world. Therapy offers an opportunity to better understand those influences, reconnect with what matters most, and create meaningful change. I truly LOVE doing this work and feel honored to play a small role in my clients’ lives.

  • I earned my Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Psychology, Biology, and Women's Studies from San Diego State University, and my Master's degree in Couple and Family Therapy from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University. Since graduate school, I have pursued additional training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Sex Therapy. I've worked in community mental health, nonprofit organizations, schools, and private practice settings. These experiences have allowed me to support individuals, couples, children, and families from a wide range of backgrounds while deepening my appreciation for the resilience and strengths people bring into therapy. I consider myself a lifelong learner and believe that curiosity is essential to good therapy. I remain committed to ongoing learning so I can continue bringing both depth and practical tools to the work I do with clients.

I value relationships, relaxation, and finding ways to stay connected to the things that make life feel meaningful.
